What Is EFT Tapping?

EFT stands for Emotional Freedom Technique. It’s often described as “acupuncture without needles.” By tapping on specific meridian points on the body while speaking out your thoughts or emotions, you signal the nervous system to relax and release stored tension.

It combines the science of somatic healing with the power of intentional language. The result is fast, effective emotional clearing.

Tapping helps you:

  • Release fear, anxiety, and doubt

  • Interrupt patterns of stress or scarcity

  • Calm the fight-or-flight response

  • Rewire the subconscious mind

  • Align with your desired reality

How EFT Tapping Supports Manifestation

The Basic EFT Tapping Sequence

Here’s how to start your own tapping session:

Step 1: Identify the Block or Emotion

Tune into what’s coming up for you. This could be:

  • “I’m afraid I won’t make enough money”

  • “I feel like love is always out of reach”

  • “I don’t feel good enough to succeed”

Give it a name and a number. Rate how strong the emotion feels on a scale of 0 to 10.

Step 2: Set Up Your Statement

Begin with a setup statement while tapping on the side of your hand (karate chop point):

“Even though I feel [insert emotion], I deeply and completely love and accept myself.”

Repeat this 3 times while tapping gently.

Example:
“Even though I feel like success is hard for me, I deeply and completely love and accept myself.”

Step 3: Tap Through the Points

Start tapping through the following points while speaking out your thoughts or emotions:

  1. Top of the head

  2. Eyebrow

  3. Side of the eye

  4. Under the eye

  5. Under the nose

  6. Chin

  7. Collarbone

  8. Under the arm

As you tap, express what’s true for you.

Example:
“This fear of not being good enough”
“I don’t believe I can receive that much money”
“This doubt that keeps coming up”

Keep going until you feel a shift. Your words don’t have to be perfect. Just be honest.

Step 4: Reframe and Rewire

Once the emotional charge starts to release, you’ll feel more open and calm. This is where you begin to speak new truths.

While tapping, say things like:

  • “I choose to believe I am worthy of wealth”

  • “I am safe to receive love now”

  • “It gets to be easy for me”

  • “I am already aligned with my desires”

You’re replacing the old energy with new beliefs that match your vision.

Step 5: Breathe and Reassess

Take a deep breath. Tune into how you feel now. Re-rate the emotion from 0 to 10.

If you still feel a charge, go another round. Tapping is a tool you can use as often as needed.

Example: EFT Script for Money Manifestation

Setup Statement (Karate Chop Point):
“Even though I feel anxious about money, I deeply and completely love and accept myself.”

Tapping Points:
Top of head: “This money stress”
Eyebrow: “I never feel like there’s enough”
Side of eye: “What if I always struggle with this”
Under eye: “I want more but feel blocked”
Under nose: “It feels overwhelming”
Chin: “What if I could believe it’s safe to receive”
Collarbone: “What if it gets to be easy”
Under arm: “I open myself to abundance now”

Reframe Round:
Top of head: “I choose to feel supported”
Eyebrow: “I trust money is flowing to me”
Side of eye: “I am open and ready to receive”
Under eye: “I welcome overflow and ease”
Under nose: “I am aligned with wealth”
Chin: “I let go of fear and step into certainty”
Collarbone: “I am safe to thrive”
Under arm: “Abundance is who I am”

Make Tapping Part of Your Manifestation Routine

Just 5 to 10 minutes a day can help clear layers of resistance and bring you into deeper alignment with your goals.

You can use tapping:

  • In the morning to start fresh

  • After journaling or scripting
